The World Independent Budo Kai is an organisation
whose membership is open to ALL groups!

But a group wishing to join the WIBK will still have to be vetted to confirm Budo authenticity of style and head instructors. This is essential to maintain quality and not be weakened by the sadly so many fake martial artists that exist today.

The process is simple.  Interested organisations/groups are given access to an online form containing questions about the background of the organisation and chief instructor.  On completion of the form, the information is sent to the WIBK Board Officials, who will then make contact directly.

The membership options are:

Official Membership

or

Affiliation Membership

I am interested in a WIBK Membership.  Please send me further details.

The WIBK structure is based on the following:

Founders   –>  Chairman (Kancho)  –>  Vice Chairman  –>

Board Members  –>  Executive Committee –> World Leaders  –>  Country Heads  –>  Country Representatives

*World Leaders look after the development of the particular discipline within the WIBK

*Country Heads (Dai Shihan) look after the development of the WIBK in the particular country

*Country Representatives look after the development of the particular discipline at Country level reporting to the Dai Shihan

On obtaining WIBK Official Membership, if a vacancy is available in their country, interested organisation leaders can apply for the following positions,  :-

Country Head status (Dai Shihan)
Country Representative in Karate, All-Round or Judo
