Shihan Iván Pérez Robles  5th dan, is the representative in Spain of the World Independent Budo Kai and the World Martial Arts Handicap Association.

Shihan Iván began studying Martial Arts (Karate and Kobudo) at a very early age with his father, Sensei Juan Pérez Velaz. In 1988, he also began the study of Judo in the Fujiyama club.  He began the practice of Kyokushin Karate in 1990 in the Tensho club.  5 years later he advanced his study by moving to the Club Yin-Yang under the direction of Shihan José Luis Lezcano.

In the year 2000 he obtained a Black Belt 1st dan and began to work as an instructor until today, holding a list of impressive titles.

Shihan Iván has also had an impressive competitive career, winning multiple international and national championships in Kyokushin Karate, both Kumite and Kata and is today renowned as one of the leading International Kyokushin Referees in the World.

  •  1988: At the age of 4 years, started Judo at Club Fujiyama.
  •  1990: Won Junior Alava Judo Championship at the age of 6.
  • 1990: Started Kyokushin Karate at Club Tensho.
  • 1995: Started training under Shihan Jose Luis Lezcano at club Yin-Yang.
  • 2000: Passed 1st Dan Black Belt-Club Yin-Yang.
  • 2001: Obtained 1st Dan IKO/EKF.
  • 2001: National Kyokushinkai Knockdown Champion Bilbao.
  • 2003: Obtained 1st Dan WKF. 2nd Dan Yin Yang Club. 2nd Dan IKO/EKF.
  • 2003: National Kyokushinkai Knockdown Champion Bilbao.
  • 2003: International Kyokushinkai Knockdown Champion Portugal.
  • 2003: Became the first member of the Spanish Junior Kyokushin team.
  • 2003: Tameshiwari International Champion Portugal.
  • 2003: International runner up Kyokushin Kata Portugal.
  • 2004: National Kyokushinkai Knockdown Champion Zaragoza.
  • 2005: International Kyokushinkai Knockdown Champion Portugal.
  • 2005: National Kyokushinkai Knockdown Champion Barcelona.
  • 2006: Obtained 3rd Dan IKO/EKF and was recognised as the youngest Sensei in Europe at the age of 21.
  • 2011: Head of the Swiss Kyokushin Karate Organisation (SKKO).
  • 2012: Obtained 4th Dan KWF/EKF.  Recognised as 3rd Dan WKF.
  • 2013: Chief referee in the 1st KWF World Cup in Japan.
  • 2014: At the age of 29, appointed official representative of the WIBK for Spain.
  • 2014 Global head of the Professional League Kyokushin Extreme Fight.
  • 2014: Director of the WIBK division of the World Martial Arts Association for the Disabled (WMAHA) in Spain.
  • 2015: Promotion to 5th Dan WIBK/KJK.
