Karate Jutsu Kai is an established Martial Arts system with international recognition. Founded by the renowned Kancho Bernard Creton (9th dan), the style strives to provide a system of self defence with traditional values. In Kancho Creton we are fortunate to have a lineage, which leads back to the teaching of Mas Oyama himself and today, Kancho's continued passion and leadership inspires all those who follow him.

We are part of Dai Shihan John Wilson’s area within the UK, along with other clubs Cranbrook, Eastbourne & Hailsham, Hastings, Northiam and Rye.
We welcome all juniors of all abilities including beginners from the age of 5. We also assist with children with special needs and disabilities. We are qualified First Aiders and are CRB checked.
Sempai Tim Larkin 1st Dan
Sempai Tim started training with Kancho Bernard Creton in 1983, with Dai Shihan John Wilson as his direct instructor at Hastings Dojo. He was a member of the national squad, competing in regular national and international tournaments.
Sempai Tim had to make a tough decision back in the late 90’s and took a full time cycling contract, later representing Great Britain in World Cup events, terminating his career after his last race, placing 14th in the World Championships in Australia. After cycling Sempai Tim competed at national level in the Triathlon. Parallel to being a professional cyclist Sempai Tim studied Sport Science and Sport injuries, gaining a high amount of medical knowledge from his immediate professional medical team. Returning to full time karate training in 2012.
