Karate Jutsu Kai is an established Martial Arts system with international recognition. Founded by the renowned Kancho Bernard Creton (9th dan), the style strives to provide a system of self defence with traditional values. In Kancho Creton we are fortunate to have a lineage, which leads back to the teaching of Mas Oyama himself and today, Kancho's continued passion and leadership inspires all those who follow him.
Shihan Russell came over from the UK in 2005 where he had run a number of clubs. The club at Moggill is open to juniors and adults, Karate and Kickboxing.
Dai Shihan Russell Peacock 5th Dan
Shihan Russell has always been involved in sport and has continuously trained in Karate for over 25 years. He has successfully competed in Knockdown tournaments at regional, national and international levels.
His first Karate Club was in Tunbridge Wells in the UK, which he took over from his old instructor Sempai Cliff England. In 1996 Russell opened a club in his home town of Sevenoaks.
In 2005 Russell and his family moved to Brisbane and the Sevenoaks club was taken over by Sempai Matt Bolt.
